Junnuo Wang:

AI Researcher, Music Technologist, and Creative Coder exploring human-AI interaction in sound and performance.

Hi, I am Junnuo! I’m a Master’s student in Music Technology at NYU Steinhardt (expected May 2026), where I explore the intersection of AI, sound, and human interaction. My work bridges machine learning, MIR, and audiovisual art, aiming to make generative systems more interpretable, controllable, and collaborative.

Beyond research, I design real-time generative systems and installations that invite audiences to engage with sound through motion, visuals, and embodied play. My practice is grounded in both technical rigor and artistic exploration, reflecting my belief that creativity and computation can co-shape new ways of making meaning through sound.
